Business owner, entrepreneur and trainer Ron Hurst brings to you a practical blend of hard earned real world experience, teaching and coaching skill and the right blend of educational credentials to help you. With over 25 years of manufacturing experience in both the United States and Canada Ron understands the organizational challenges that leaders face daily. He has held successful leadership positions in Operations, Research, Sales, Quality and General Management. Throughout his career he continually sought opportunities to make a difference and grow his capabilities. He has been trained in Lean Six Sigma and holds a black belt in this discipline. He has been trained in lean manufacturing and several other continuous improvement strategies including TQM, Kepner Tragoe and Juran Quality Planning.

As a business owner and trainer, Ron is building a training company focused on helping his clients grow profitability through not only cost reduction and revenue growth improvement, but also through the expansion of leader capabilities. His training programs are designed to optimize learning that can be applied real time to current business challenges. His clients have realized significant measurable gain from their collaboration with Ron’s company Developing Leaders. A 5 year old company Developing Leaders has grown significantly since inception and was incorporated in late 2013.
More than “Experience”
Ron brings a unique and balanced perspective to his clients. Blending experience with learning, he holds a Masters degree in leadership and organizational development from the University of La Verne (2006). This degree is foundational to his ability to deliver training that is relevant, effective and timeless to his clients. Ron also holds a certificate in Evidence Based Coaching, a Masters in Business Administration and a Metallurgical Engineering bachelor’s degree to round out a broad experience base of education. Currently Ron is pursuing a PhD in Human and organizational design at the Fielding Graduate School.
